This 1970's ranch house underwent a major addition / renovation to breathe new life into the building to keep pace with the changing lives of the owners. To the second story was added a master bedroom, full bath, laundry room and office. The bedrooms, bathroom and living room on the first floor had some minor upgrades and repairs made. Most of the work on that floor focused on increasing the size, functionality and integration of the kitchen and dining room, which were the most heavily used rooms in the house. Throughout those rooms are a series of cherry accents found in the kitchen cabinets, the stairway and even the renovated hearth. The building was completely resided with a more traditional and classic cedar clapboard. A second story porch is situated to view the backyard and the woods beyond.
